They're expensive at retail, but they often are reduced on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.
Roborock is the manufacturer of several of our top robotic vacuums and the Q5+ does not perform to the standards. This is their least expensive auto-empty model, and although it lacks some of the features you'll find on higher-end models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still a great option if you're willing compromise a bit in order to save some hundred dollars.
The Q5+ is extremely gentle when it comes down to obstacles like tables and walls. This makes it a great option for homes with many furniture pieces. The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a clever well-rounded vacuum and mop. It's capable of mopping and vacuuming. Its design and features are some of the best on the market - but it's also pricey.
The base station is attractive and is easily hidden when not in use, and the size is quite compact. The primary selling point of the station is that it can automate many tasks, chores and functions that other robots have to leave to you. It can keep clean and dirty water and also electrolyze and warm the water. Many other robots require you to perform this.
Its vacuuming is also impressive. It's the few robot vacuums I've tested that do very well at cleaning up debris from unfinished floors, and it's not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot 900 series.
However, the Freo X Ultra has its flaws, particularly when it comes to navigation. Its laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable and reliable as other robovacs, meaning it sometimes gets stuck or confused in certain rooms or corners of the house.
